| Anaerobic digestion is the microbiological breakdown of organic material in an oxygen-free environment. A result of this biological process is the production of methane gas, the main component in biogas. Once produced, biogas can be burned in a combustion engine to produce electricity. Foam Geometrix constructs anaerobic digester tanks using Insulated Concrete Forms. ICF's are beneficial because they contain the insulation required to keep the heat needed for the anaerobic process in the tank.
